TERMS OF USE
Effective Date: September 25, 2026
Welcome to Thrive Integrative Health. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of thrive-integrative-health.com (the “Website”), including the information, resources, materials, and services made available through or linked from the Website.
The Website represents services offered through two separate business entities:
Thrive Integrative Health & Chiropractic PLLC (“Thrive PLLC”), which provides clinical healthcare services within the scope of applicable professional licensure and law; and
Thrive Integrative Health LLC (“Thrive LLC”), which provides non-clinical services including health and wellness coaching, virtual rehabilitation coaching, educational programs, and digital resources.
Together, these entities may be referred to in these Terms as “Thrive,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
By accessing or using this Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.
1. Purpose of the Website
The Website provides information about Thrive, our services, educational content, resources, and ways to contact us or access third-party platforms through which certain services may be provided.
Content available on the Website may include information related to chiropractic care, functional medicine, dry needling, movement, rehabilitation, exercise, nutrition, lifestyle, wellness, laboratory testing, supplements, and other health-related topics.
General Website content is provided for informational and educational purposes and is not a substitute for individualized professional evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment.
Additional information regarding the limitations of health-related Website content is provided in our Medical & Health Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. Clinical and Non-Clinical Services
Thrive offers both clinical and non-clinical services through separate business entities.
Clinical healthcare services are provided through Thrive Integrative Health & Chiropractic PLLC only where legally permitted and within the applicable provider's professional scope of practice.
Chiropractic care may be provided in association with or through Coles Chiropractic, as described on the Website and in applicable patient documentation.
Non-clinical coaching, virtual rehabilitation coaching, educational programs, self-guided resources, and other non-clinical offerings may be provided through Thrive Integrative Health LLC.
The availability of information about a service on this Website does not mean that the service is legally or professionally available to every individual or in every geographic location.
The terms governing a particular clinical or non-clinical service may also be contained in separate agreements, informed consents, waivers, policies, or other documentation. If there is a conflict between these Website Terms and an agreement specifically governing a service you purchase or receive, the service-specific agreement will control with respect to that service.
3. No Professional Relationship Created by Website Use
Visiting the Website, reading Website content, submitting a general inquiry, subscribing to communications, or interacting with free educational material does not, by itself, establish a doctor-patient, healthcare provider-patient, coach-client, or other professional relationship with Thrive or Dr. Mackenzie Anderson.
A professional relationship is established only when the requirements applicable to the particular service have been completed and Thrive has agreed to provide that service.
Please do not use the general Website contact form for emergencies or urgent medical concerns.
4. Eligibility and Minors
The Website may be viewed by the general public.
Certain clinical services may be available to minors when appropriate, legally permitted, and authorized by a parent or legal guardian as required.
Non-clinical programs, digital products, coaching services, or other offerings may have separate age requirements stated at the time of enrollment or purchase.
Parents and legal guardians are responsible for supervising a minor's use of the Website and for providing any consent required for services involving a minor.
5. Educational Content
Thrive may publish educational information through the Website or related channels, including articles, guides, videos, downloadable resources, protocols, newsletters, social media content, podcasts, or other materials.
This content is intended to provide general education and should not be interpreted as individualized healthcare advice merely because it is written or presented by a licensed healthcare professional.
Health information changes over time, and individual circumstances vary. Thrive does not represent that every piece of educational content will be appropriate for every individual or circumstance.
For additional information, please review our Medical & Health Disclaimer.
6. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its original content are owned by or licensed to Thrive and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
This includes, where applicable:
Website text and written content;
Branding, graphics, logos, and design elements;
Photographs and original media;
Educational materials;
Guides and downloadable resources;
Worksheets and handouts;
Protocols and educational frameworks;
Videos and presentations;
Courses and program materials; and
Other original digital content.
You may access Website content for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Unless Thrive gives you prior written permission, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, modify, publicly display, commercially exploit, or create derivative products from Thrive's proprietary content except as permitted by applicable law.
Purchasing or receiving access to a digital resource does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property to you.
7. Digital Products and Educational Programs
Thrive LLC may offer digital products, educational resources, courses, programs, protocols, or other materials in the future.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, these materials are licensed to the purchaser for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not:
Share purchased materials with individuals who have not purchased or been granted access to them;
Upload them to public or shared databases;
Reproduce or distribute them for commercial purposes;
Resell them;
Represent them as your own work; or
Use Thrive's materials to create substantially similar commercial products.
Specific purchase, cancellation, refund, subscription, or access terms may be presented at the time a product or program is offered. Those specific terms will govern that transaction.
Because Thrive does not currently sell digital products directly through the Website, this section is intended to apply to future offerings when they become available.
8. Third-Party Platforms and Links
The Website may contain links to or integrate with services operated by third parties.
These may include platforms used for:
Scheduling and appointment requests;
Clinical intake or communication;
Virtual rehabilitation coaching;
Health or wellness coaching;
Laboratory services;
Payments;
Digital products or educational programs;
Email communications; or
Other services related to Thrive's operations.
Current third-party platforms may include Practice Better, Calendly, and Rebuildr, among others.
When you leave the Website and use a third-party service, your use of that service may be governed by the third party's own terms, privacy policy, payment terms, cancellation policies, and other agreements.
Thrive does not control independent third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, policies, or practices.
The inclusion of a link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of all information, products, or services offered by that third party.
9. Purchases and Payments
The Website currently directs users to third-party platforms when payment or enrollment is required rather than directly processing purchases through the Website.
Payments made through third-party platforms may be subject to additional terms and conditions presented by Thrive and/or the applicable payment provider.
Prices, services, programs, and offerings may change from time to time.
Any applicable cancellation, refund, recurring-payment, or subscription terms will be disclosed in connection with the specific service or product where appropriate.
Nothing in these Website Terms replaces the financial policies, informed-consent documents, service agreements, or other terms applicable to individual clinical or coaching services.
10. Results Are Not Guaranteed
Health, wellness, rehabilitation, fitness, and educational outcomes vary from person to person.
Thrive does not guarantee any particular result from using Website information, purchasing an educational resource, participating in a program, receiving coaching, or obtaining a clinical service.
Testimonials, reviews, case examples, or descriptions of individual experiences, if displayed, represent individual experiences and should not be interpreted as a promise that another person will achieve the same outcome.
Importantly, this provision does not allow Thrive to make unsupported health claims. Health-related advertising claims must still be truthful, non-misleading, and appropriately substantiated. FTC guidance specifically notes that simply saying results may vary does not cure an otherwise misleading testimonial or claim.
11. Accuracy and Availability of Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information. However, health information, scientific evidence, professional standards, services, pricing, availability, and applicable laws may change.
We may update, modify, correct, or remove Website content at any time.
We do not warrant that the Website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or completely current.
If you notice information you believe is inaccurate, you are welcome to contact us.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Website in a manner that:
Violates applicable law;
Infringes another person's rights;
Attempts to gain unauthorized access to the Website or related systems;
Introduces malicious code, viruses, or other harmful technology;
Interferes with the operation or security of the Website;
Scrapes, harvests, or systematically extracts Website content for unauthorized commercial purposes;
Impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation with a person or organization; or
Uses Thrive's intellectual property in violation of these Terms.
We may restrict access to the Website when reasonably necessary to protect the Website, Thrive, its users, or others.
13. Testimonials and Reviews
Thrive may display testimonials, reviews, or descriptions of experiences voluntarily shared by patients, clients, customers, or program participants when legally and ethically appropriate.
Individual experiences vary and should not be interpreted as guarantees of future outcomes.
Thrive will not knowingly publish fake or materially misleading testimonials or reviews.
Federal rules governing consumer reviews and testimonials prohibit a number of deceptive practices involving fake reviews and undisclosed insider relationships, and health-related testimonials cannot be used to make claims that the business itself could not substantiate.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Thrive and its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising solely from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or general educational Website content.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, waive, or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in this section is intended to alter any rights, duties, or standards of care that apply to an established healthcare provider-patient relationship.
Liability relating to a specific clinical or non-clinical service may also be governed by the agreements and laws applicable to that service.
15. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold Thrive harmless from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, or reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of the Website, your infringement of another person's rights, or your material violation of these Terms.
This provision is not intended to require a patient or client to indemnify Thrive for Thrive's own professional negligence or other liability that cannot legally be shifted or waived.
16. Privacy
Your use of the Website is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected and used through the Website.
Please review that policy before submitting personal information through the Website.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our Website, services, business practices, or applicable legal requirements.
When these Terms are updated, the Effective Date at the top of the page may be revised.
Your continued use of the Website after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of the Website are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law is required to apply.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to alter legal rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be modified by contract.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
20. Entire Agreement Regarding Website Use
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Medical & Health Disclaimer, constitute the general terms governing use of this Website.
Separate agreements may apply to specific clinical services, coaching relationships, programs, purchases, memberships, or other offerings.
